Legal Crucifixion, Hamas shows US the true colors of Sharia "Law"

Crucifixion is not unheard of in the third world, it happens. However, this passing of a special Sharia code just in time for the New Year makes it legal. It's bad enough to fear having one's head lopped off and enduring whatever tortures that may be in store before that happens, now imagine what may be the worst of them. Then remember Jesus at the cross, this is what Islam thinks of His followers. American Christians, enjoy your freedom and what security you may havbe left while you still have them. What may seem unthinkable to some in present tense (here in this land) is not impossible in the future.

"On Tuesday Hamas legislators marked the Christmas season by passing a Sharia criminal code for the Palestinian Authority. Among other things, the code legalizes crucifixion.

Hamas's endorsement of nailing enemies of Islam to crosses came at the same time as it renewed its jihad."

Pulling down the TSPM Churches, sign of things to come

When China begins to look the other way and allow the pulling down of their registered state churches, you know that complete repression of any religious expression (even "state approved") is not far behind. What really got my attention in an article just released by China Aid was the fact that corrupt land & real estate developers were the driving force behind the recent unauthorized tearing down of a Three-Self Patriotic Movement Church.

Remember a couple years ago, when our US government passed laws and gave local municipalities the the right to "procure" private property in order to meet their needs (municipal land grabs)? http://www.cnn.com/2005/LAW/06/24/scotus.property/
Quoted from CNN: "
In a victory for cities, a divided Supreme Court concluded Thursday that local governments have the authority to seize private land and turn the property over to private developers for economic development"

Consider the growing repression of Christian religious expression here in the US, our governments move to gain more and more control over our lives and remove existing rights, then consider this incident from a few days ago in China. Do the math, is this a sign of things soon to come here in the US?.

China Aid reported on December 22, 2008

Registered Church in Jiangsu Province Demolished, Christians Beaten
http://chinaaid.org/

"JIANGSU – The morning of December 17, 2008, police officers, together with nearly a thousand unidentified people, led by government officials from Yancheng city, Jiangsu province and real estate developers, forcibly demolished the Chengnan Christian Church of Tinghu District. The destruction of this registered church came less than 24 hours after the church won a court case protecting their building against the same individuals who attacked it. The mob took away property belonging to the church and beat more than10 Christians. Contacts report that the destruction was the result of government officials and powerful businessmen working in collusion to obtain the coveted church property by force."

The Deadliest Place on Earth for Christians - Iraq?

Today, Iraq is "one" of those on the top of "my" list. Islamic terrorists are daily patrolling the streets checking citizen ID's. If you are a Christian, the odds are extremely good that their response will be a gunshot to your head.

Here in the United States we don't need numerous armed gaurds stationed outside our churches as they do in Bethlehem. We are not enduring intense & continued persecution as the dwindling population of Palestinian Christians are. We aren't Iraqi Christians apprehensive to move about on our own streets, oppressed by the same spirit of fears that the Jews once were, back in the days when Nazi's ruled... But, then again, this isn't the Middle East, is it?

We can't turn a blind eye to this situation which is not brought to the publics attention by the mainstream media. Fortunately, there are groups who are aware and serving the persecuted in these oppressive nations.

Open Doors has a couple videos on Iraqi Christians on Youtube

Churches Burn Everday

As would be expected, the MSM is blacking out nearly all news on the fire (torching) of Sarah Palin's home church. If it had been Obama's "former church" things would have been radically different. Thinking on this today the following thought came to me. ..
"But, churches burn every day."

No, it's usually not in the United States, and when it is we normally see a bit more press coverage, so...
"So, why would the mainstream media remain mum?"

Is it because although they have helped stirred up the liberal element in this nation with so much hatred and contempt for conservatives and evangelicals they still don't want to appear with any egg on their (own) faces via a possible link to this act (which is a hate crime) being tracked back to them?
Or... perhaps, simply more blacking out of what could possibly be continued radical homosexual domestic terrorism against the church because of Prop-8? Are the "publicly silent" liberal MSM dancing around in the privacy of their offices like much of the Muslim world did (openly on public streets) after 9-11?

Churches (sometimes) get caught up in political cross-hairs and burn, but most times the violence and the act is a fear based response to a growing increase in the evangelisation of a local or regional population and is initiated by other religious groups or police and government authorities in nations where "Christianity" or some aspect of it is "illegal". We recently saw and continue to see homes and churches of Christians burned and destroyed in Orissa and surrounding states (India). There has been recent violence against Christians in Nigeria. Every day in China and surrounding countries churches are destroyed, bulldozed, burned, literally pulled down by local authorities or in some cases, religious extremists.

The arson of Sarah Palin's church may seem different in nature and scope than those happening in other nations around the world. The members of her church hold to beliefs that are very much opposed to much of this nations liberal and radical elements who would love to have total reign in defining this nations moral and secular laws. My first thought when hearing the news was that their hatred of her Pro-life position and her personal beliefs is so strong that they would actually torch her church! That is how anti-life many people in this nation have become. The possibility of this being tied to continued acts of domestic terrorism by gay rights activists (because of Prop-8) didn't even cross my mind at the time.

However, all of these acts, no matter the root source or motivator do have one common spiritual denominator which drives them...
Rebellion and rejection of God and all those who legitimately represent Him, including any and all things that may be construed as some form of symbol of Him, or that honor Him in some way.

As religious persecution continues to rise within this nation continue to expect that what gets and is given real attention by the mainstream media will be only that which fits into their own agenda and is in agreement with their propaganda.. It's now up to us as individuals to report and share the truth so that people hear it. Otherwise, they will be plenty suprised at what shows up at their own back doors in the not too distant future.

Death and Terror in Nigeria

Several days ago a wave of terror and persecution against Christians occurred which some news agencies attributed to the outcome of political elections. However, it appears to have been well planned and began before the actual results of the elections had been made official and no violence against political institutions occured. Hundreds have been killed (very possibly well over 1,000) and an estimated 30,000 people have been displaced by violence. Much of the city of Northern Jos has been decimated. False reports by the International media placing blame on Christians for the death of 300 Muslims were later refuted. The violence has been geared towards Christians, but as "non local" Muslims are joining in these efforts some Muslims are being accidentally killed as because the helpers do not know "who is who". Expect the blame of all Muslim deaths to be placed on the Christian population whether they are responsible or not.

There are fears that this false reporting being done by the media will incur more violence and unrest in other parts of Nigeria. The pattern is very similar to events in Orissa State, India where there is still violence occurring after many weeks. In the case of Nigeria and the recent terrorist bombings in Mumbai, there is a continuing trend in the MSM to report this kind of violence from a "pro-Islam slant" and parrot the propaganda they are being fed, redirecting cause and accountability to the (victims) targets themselves or else to government or those not really responsible, instead of those perpetrating the acts of violence and terror.

Quoted by Christian Solidarity Worldwide...

"Of even greater concern to the local community were international news reports that implied that Christians had killed 300 Muslims over the weekend, whose bodies were deposited at the central mosque in Jos, when in reality, they died while obeying orders from a mosque in the Dilimi area, which was using its loudspeakers to instruct all Muslims to ignore the authorities, participate in the “jihad”, loot properties for money and then burn them. Local security sources confirm the rioters were shot while defying the “shoot on sight” curfew and launching fresh attacks, including an unsuccessful large-scale assault on police barracks..."

"Jihad" is considered to be a holy war, but remember those who support Jihad many times use politics and political events as springboards to accomplishing their goals and furthering their agenda. What is happening now in Nigeria, is one such example.

Welcome to Persecution Rising!

This blog is designed to be an outpost of information on the alarming increase in Christian persecution going on Worldwide. The mainstream media is reporting only a fraction, or in some cases completely blacking out what's happening at home and abroad. Most people don't have a clue. As religious intolerance and discrimination turns to outright acts of persecution here in the United States people need to be informed and prepared. The Church of Smyrna (estimated at 200-400 million Christians) is growing exponentially, you too may soon be one it's members.
